Michał Batory | VART Virtual Exhibitions
In today’s world, size doesn’t matter. You can be small not only in height, but also great with your rich modesty. Michał Batory translates his visions, the illusions of small everyday things, the lack of which we will not notice until they are gone.
The artist’s creative journeys are metaphors of small things that grow into strong messages, funny anecdotes and punch lines. Sometimes with a fairy-tale or theatrical mood, they are extremely comfortable for the eye. It is not a style of hypnotic visuality, but rather inviting and engaging in a different, contextual way. Complex compositions work quickly but have many interesting values and flavors such as typography, colors and an unusual composition.
This time we provide you with a question about the nature of perception. The choice is yours. What do you consider value, where to look for it? Does size matter or is the context stronger than the form?
We invite you to travel around the exhibition of Michał Batory, who was born and educated in Poland, but he combined his artistic and professional path with Paris, where he lives and works.
